I had a joy transfusion
Today, while I was out
I was sitting at the doctor’s
But I didn’t sing or shout.
I felt the warmth of love and joy
Trickle through my veins
It ran right round behind my eyes
I sat there in a haze.
I felt Your soft warm hug Lord
As I waited quietly
In awe of my precious Saviour
Who is so good to me.
It’s wonderful to know You’re near
Around and yet inside me
And know that I am not alone
Wherever I might be.
Sometimes You are very quiet
And so, then I should be
For I might miss Your whisper
When You bend down to me.
A transfusion at the doctors?
Well that’s not really strange
For Jesus meets us anywhere
We’re never out of range.

A joy transfusion... I really like that Wyn, we need one every day :) Thanks for a great post!
Love,
You are so right, Marja. We would soon be spiritually anaemic without one!,
love,
Wyn.
