You Surprise Us.

There is no question that You surprise us
For our ways are not Your own
We make our plans yet You will guide us
Into paths seen from Your throne.

Just day by day as You have called us
Step by step when You say “Go”
We’ll never fear though the future’s hidden
The next step all we need to know.

No open doors? No sense of leading?
Then we will wait until You call
Waiting and trusting although You tarry
Your timing perfect, Your will is all.

There is no question that you, Lord, love us
You show it in so many ways
In patience, mercy, loving-kindness
In every way, through all our days.

"No open doors, no sense of leading..." good words Wyn, that's how we all feel from time to time.
By the way, is this a new song by Jeff I hear?

No, It is the music he wrote to my poem, 'Sing To Me Jesus' a year or more ago. He edited it and wrote this beautiful melody.
I had it played at Geoff's Funeral too.

I am happy that he added it to his listing for a while. It is on his album called The Good Samaritan, along with another poem of mine he put to music called 'Things that I Do'.

I fear that in seeking to know what the will of God is I tend to take what action seems to be presenting itself under the banner of "It seemed like a good idea at the time'! I am glad God is so patirent. He must be the misunderstood entity of all time.

The misunderstood entity of all times... Now that is thought worth pondering!
