The Way You Took.

It was the way You took dear Lord, that saved my soul from Hell
You walked the road to Calvary, and that I know full well
No deeds of mine can ever make your sacrifice worth while
But oh I love You so, my Lord, I’ll walk the second mile.

You walked the road to Calvary, the stones stained with Your blood
So we can kneel down at Your feet our guilt cleansed by the flood
I want my heart to always pain each time that I deny
The ownership of Christ my King by pushing You aside.

For You are now within my heart and I belong to You
I’m proud to be Your loving child to do all that You would do
If I deny Your claim on me, then I deny the cross
Though You have walked to Calvary, it is I that suffer loss.

But now my love is true dear Lord, and I will not deny
The power of Your sacrifice; the Love that brought me nigh
The grace that bought my freedom and chose me to be Yours
I’m drowning in Your love Lord; take mine, as it’s outpoured.

Thank you, Marja.

It seems that just when I think I will never write another word, God whispers something in my ear about His favourite subject, His Son!!

Love to you too!
